Starting Over helps newly single women

Middletown — Registration is open for the program, Starting Over, a support group for women facing the challenges of being single again. The summer session will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting mid-July, at the Middletown and Newburgh offices of Jewish Family Service of Orange County. The program is open to anyone regardless of race, religion or ethnicity. The group is facilitated by a marriage and family therapist. Topics include: “Taking Stock of Myself,” “Relationships with Family and Friends,” “Socializing as a Single,” and “The Single Working Mom.” The fee is $8 per session. Space is limited.
