Stained Glass Concert Series features saxophonist Gary Mccourry

Highland Falls — Saxophonist Gary McCourry will collaborate with Hudson Valley musicians on Sunday, Jan. 21, at 3 p.m. in a concert of classic jazz standards. Part of The Stained Glass Concert Series, the event is open to the public at Holy Innocents Episcopal Church, 401 Main Street, Highland Falls. McCourry will be joined by vibraphonist Tom Cunane, guitarist Mark Tonelli and bassist Brandon Nelson. Gary McCourry will be featured on various saxophones and flute as the group performs timeless classics such as All of Me and My One and Only Love. The sounds of guitarist Mark Tonelli will be highlighted on Wes Montgomery’s West Coast Blues. Music composed by Chick Corea, Charlie Parker and John Lewis will round out the concert. Free will offerings will be accepted for the repair of the historic stained glass windows at the church.
