St. Stephen's Taste of the Town will be held May 15
Warwick - The St. Stephen’s Taste of the Town committee is finalizing preparations for their third annual event, scheduled for Tuesday, May 15, from 4 to 9 p.m. at St. Stephen’s in Warwick. The family-friendly event will be held, rain or shine, under a large tent with a variety of featured local food and wine vendors who will offer some of their specialties. “We are excited to welcome back The Copper Bottom, Iron Forge Inn, Bellvale Farms Creamery, Pennings Harvest Grill Cafe, Carriage Path Café, Lisa’s Cookie Shop, JW Tavern, formally Greg’s Place, Willows Café, Restaurant La Tour, The Landmark, Janet’s Quality Baked Goods, Warwick Valley Winery, Applewood Winery and Demarest Winery in our third year,” Eileen Sanchez, the restaurant chairperson for the event said in a press release. “In addition, we welcome as first time participants, Bravo Pizza, Fine Delicatessen, Old San Juan, Goshen Gourmet and Russo Brothers Zeppoles.” Gold sponsor Quick Chek will feature a booth offering specialty coffees; silver sponsor Toys R Us Inc.’s character Geoffery the Giraffe will greet children during a portion of the evening. Provident Bank, also a silver sponsor, will be on hand. Along with great food, live local entertainment will be featured throughout the evening by Kyle Hancharick on acoustic guitar and harmonica, Claire Pettit on fiddle, Tom Holtman, Victoria Mariconti and Erin Held playing and singing show tunes, rock and blues band Full Circle, Unhugged, playing acoustic favorites, Bell Tone Brass with brass quartet music and The Other Guys playing classic R & B. Advance admission tickets are $3, ages 15 and up and $4 at the door. Children are admitted free with a paying adult. Food tastes are $1-$3 each.
