St. Anthony hospital's first annual classic car show revs up this Sunday

WARWICK - Calling all classic car owners, near and far. Members of the Annual Fund Drive Committee for St. Anthony Community Hospital, Schervier Pavilion and Mount Alverno Center are busy arranging preparations for their upcoming first annual classic car show on Sunday, Oct. 22, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Kuiken Brother’s parking facility at 33 South Street in the Village of Warwick. (The rain date is Sunday, Oct. 29.) The car show will feature refreshments, door prizes, 50/50 raffle and “people’s choice” car judging. Tickets are $3 per person and admission is free for children under 12. The registration fee for classic car owners is $10. All participants will be eligible for trophies and awards. To register your car, call 986-0600. Proceeds from the show will be used to help fund the modernization and expansion of St. Anthony Community Hospital’s Emergency Department. Members of the Annual Fund Drive Committee are Donna Applegate, Rudy Breedy, Leah Cerkvenik, Jane Gyulavary, Wendi Perez, Marie Kosen and Helen Laskow. Co-chairs are Joseph and Marie Kosen.
