St. Anthony Community Hospital to sponsor second annual classic car show

Prize is day at Skip Barber Racing School in Lime Rock WARWICK Calling all classic car owners, fans and families, near and far. The Bon Secours Warwick Healthcare Foundation, the fund-raising arm of St. Anthony Community Hospital, Schervier Pavilion and Mount Alverno Center; will host the Second Annual Classic Car Show on Sunday, Oct. 21, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will be held on the grounds of the Warwick Valley Middle School, 225 West St. Extension in Warwick. In case of inclement weather, a rain date has been set for the following Sunday, Oct. 28. Tickets are $5 per person and admission is free for children under 12. The early registration fee for classic car owners is $15. Late registration at the door is $20. All participants will be eligible for trophies and awards. The Second Annual Classic Car Show, featuring people’s choice” car judging, promises to be fun for all ages. This year’s event offers a great day of family fun, an extraordinary array of Classic Cars, food and soft drinks, raffle prizes, 50/50, trophies, children’s activities, face painting, music, dancing and much more. And the lucky winner of this year’s Grand Raffle Prize will get to spend a full day at the famous Skip Barber Racing School in Lime Rock, Connecticut. Co-chairs of this year’s Second Annual Classic Car Show are Joseph and Marie Kosen. The Organizer and Development Asst. is Wendi Perez. Members of the Car Show Committee are Rudy Breedy, Stratos Colman, Eddie Perez, Robert Porr and Sharon Visconti. Proceeds from the Second Annual Classic Car Show will be used to help purchase new resident lift devices for Schervier Pavilion.
