Spooky things at the museum

    GOSHEN-Ichabod Crane, The Headless Horseman, Casper the Friendly Ghost, and a scary scavenger hunt are all part of the “ Spooky Things” workshop from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 8, at the Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame. Participants will help create the background noises for scary Halloween stories, search through the old stable area for Casper’s friends, and make a Halloween craft to take home. The cost is $5 per child, with one accompanying adult admitted free of charge. The museum, located at 240 Main Street in Goshen, is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., November through March, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., April through October.
