Spooky Evening' at Moffat Library

Washingtonville The Friends of the Moffat Library is hosting a “Spooky Evening” at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 24, at the library in Washingtonville. Local author Linda Zimmerman of Blooming Grove will enlighten the audience about the many mysterious happenings right here in Orange County. She has been featured on “America’s Most Haunted Places” on the Travel Channel, and has been a guest on many television and radio programs throughout the United States. Her presentation will include photos of haunted sites. A question-and-answer session will afterward. Because of the nature of the speaker’s discussion, everyone must be seated prior to the presentation. Refreshments will follow. For more information or to register, call 496-5483.
