Spelling champs at Kings Elementary

WARWICK-On June 13 and 14, the Kings Elementary School PTA sponsored its 13th annual spelling bee; the following students were class winners and received a trophy for participation in the finals: Third grade: Joseph Cassidy, Brendan Corneby, Marc Doherty, Evan Floreck, Michael Gaffin, Tori Kantor, Jasmine McKinney, Emily Mears, Schuyler Traverse, Logan Vero and Angela Volpe. Logan Vero was the third-grade champion and Brendan Corneby was first runner-up. Fourth grade: Ben Bisaro, Rachel Botbyl, William Doucette, Joseph Englese, Aodhan Cannon, Sean Houlahan, Jordan Totaro, Bridget Lennon, Kathryn Magnier, Ryan McManus and Kathryn Ranni. Aodhan Gannon was the fourth-grade champion and Rachel Botbyl was first runner-up. Fifth grade: Abigail Beyer, Kyle Brewi, Eric Cwalinski, Olivia Jackson, Lexi Kantor, Vincent LoBianco, Jeffrey Rappaport, Joseph Valenza and Dominick Varrone. Dominick Varrone was the fifth-grade champion and Joseph Valenza was the first runner-up.
