WARWICK — On Sunday, Sept. 23, from 3 to 4:30 p.m., InnerRoute will host a CD release performance with Warwick Dance Collective at the Warwick Center for the Performing Arts.
There is a $10 suggested donation.
The CD "Wing Factory" is the group's third release.
INNERrOUTe was born in drummer Michael D'Agostino's West Milford, N.J., studio and also features Rick Savage on trumpet and Joe Vincent Tranchina on piano.
They were all amazed at the results and agreed that the music that they created together was "uniquely alive, freeing and healing," according to the press release announcing the CD release.
The musicians got on so well that they agreed to make a trial recording in D'Agostino's studio and here they are three CDs later.
Here's how the group explains the creative process:
"Their creative process begins differently every time, with one of them starting to play whatever pops into his ears. Then the reaction to those first ideas begins & where it goes no one knows. They can emerge from dark valleys into beautiful light rain and rays of musical sunshine, laughing all the way ... emerging in a healthier state, greatly moved by the spirit which has just passed through them.
