Souza memorial scholarship application guidelines

Central Valley - The founding committee recognized four characteristics that best reflected Bob Souza. Specific statements (in the form of a typed essay) and supportive evidence of the four characteristics listed below must be submitted with the application. a) service to school and community. b) appreciation of and commitment to the performing arts and music. c) unselfish commitment in relating to others. d) leadership which is characterized by integrity, compassion and perseverance. All applicants are asked to be concise in their statements and limit the essay to 400 words. Other criteria used to decide upon awards include letters of recommendation, school service and academic transcript and an in-person interview with the Awards Committee. Souza Scholarship applications will be available in M-W Guidance offices early in the Spring semester.
