Song of the Valley seeks ‘Divas' as singers

Group makes acapella music Goshen — The Song of the Valley is participating in Sweet Adelines International’s “Divas Wanted” program. During May, it will offer five free vocal lessons, from 7 to 9 p.m. every Tuesday, beginning May 2, in the BOCES Special Education Building on Gibson Road in Goshen. Sweet Adelines affords singers the opportunity to become a diva, if only for an evening or weekend. That bit of escape can make all the difference in a week, when it comes to being bread winner, mom, or grandma.
