Monroe — The Friends of Jonathan Morgese will hold a Sober Benefit Dance from 9 p.m. to midnight on Saturday, June 3, at Sacred Heart Church at 26 Still Road in Monroe. Sixteen-year-old Jonathan has miraculously survived a year and a half battle with late Stage 4 cancer. Although the family is so grateful for his remission, they have been left financially devastated. The event, sponsored by Christian Services, will raise funds to support the family in their time of need. There will be free refreshments, a 50/50 raffle, and raffle prizes.
