Silk painting classes

Ping Xu, whose artwork has been displayed in China, Japan and New York, is teaching silk painting classes at the Art Studio in Highland Mills on Fridays and Saturdays this spring for children and adults. Beginner to advanced students will be able to make scarves, men’s ties or traditional Chinese fans. She also will be teaching this summer. For more information, call 938-8823. (Photo provided)
