GOSHEN-Natasha is a two-and-a-half-year-old spayed Australian shepherd/rottweiler mix who is living at the Goshen Humane Society's shelter. According to dog control officer Laurene Sandstrom, Natasha is housebroken, sweet-tempered, and fabulous with children. She is one of the many animals waiting for good homes at the Goshen Humane Society. Stanley was found wandering in the Village of Goshen, drinking from pools of water in the road. "He was a bag of bones and starving for companionship," said shelter director Laurene Sandstrom. "We have since put some meat on his bones and had him neutered and vaccinated. He is a candidate for training by Bill Mueller of Dakola Kennels (and it is training he sorely needs!) He is really sweet and loving and needs a forever home. He is good with children." In addition to good homes for these and other animals, the shelter is seeking donations of the following items: • Copier • Pentium computer • Calculator • Flashlights • Shop vac • Air cleaner/ionizer • Cat litter • Three signs for Routes 17A, 17M, and Hatfield Lane saying "Goshen Humane Society," with an arrow pointing in the appropriate directions. The shelter is located at 44 Police Drive, in a white building behind the Town of Goshen Police Station. Please call 294-3984 for hours and additional information.
