Serious coffee comes to Monroe

    MONROE-The Coco Moka Café, featuring Seattle's Best Coffee, has opened in Monroe across from Home Depot in the Provident Bank building. In addition to coffees and espresso drinks, the franchise serves soups, fresh salads, sandwiches, fruit smoothies, and desserts The café also offers wireless Internet service for laptop users. Owner Eliot Meshulam has lived in Monroe-Woodbury since 1999. He and his wife, Shari, a teacher of autistic children at BOCES, are the parents of two children. The café is open seven days a week: Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
