School of Dance to present An Afternoon of Music and Art'

Monroe The Orange County School of Dance will present “An Afternoon of Music and Art” on Sunday, April 1, at 1 p.m. Classical and jazz pieces will be performed by the school’s music faculty: Nafisa Manapat (piano), George Whetstone (violin), Franz and Alekander Vezuli (piano) and the Orange County School of Dance Jazz Trio featuring Victor Caruso, Bill Iannone and Rick McCurdy. Some of these musicians have worked extensively with the Manhattan String Quartet, jazz clubs in New York City, and opera companies. They have also won international composition awards. Music and Movement #6 is part of a series of art exhibits featuring oils, pastels, watercolors and sculptures by artists throughout the United States and Europe, with arts as the theme of the work.
