‘Salute to Veterans' at West Point

West Point - The United States Military Academy Band’s Jazz Knights will present their annual “Salute to Veterans” concert at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 12, in the Eisenhower Hall Ball Room. The program will feature classic big band tunes from the World War II era and a variety of vocal arrangements such as A Tisket, A Tasket and Someone to Watch Over Me featuring Sergeant First Class Laura Bradey. The Jazz Knights will also perform the “Salute to Veterans” concert at the Lycian Centre in Sugar Loaf, at 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 10 and the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center in Westhampton Beach, at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11. All concerts are free and open to the public. For all West Point performances, please allow extra travel time for the 100 percent vehicle and photo I.D. inspection at Stony Lonesome and Thayer gates.
