SáLounge Hair Studio to hold fundraiser Dec. 6

MONROE - Hollywood hairstylist Kirk Michael and artist and hairstylist Renée Bottone, owners of Monroe hair studio SáLounge, will host a People for People fund raiser on Wednesday, Dec. 6, from 6 to 10 p.m., in the Tribeca-style space on Route 17M in Monroe. The exhibit will remain up until Jan. 6. SáLounge will host Monroe artist Mark Stankiewicz, whose drawings, watercolors and photograms will be exhibited at SáLounge that night. Bottone will conduct the silent art auction. The event is free and the public is welcome. Refreshments will be served. Michael has worked for Saturday Night Live, Conan O’Brien, Geraldo, and NBC News before moving from Manhattan to open SáLounge in Monroe. The hair studio aims to enhance self-image, one client at a time, as well as to keep community service in mind.
