SADD Club will host mock crash April 2

Warwick - The SADD Club (Students Against Destructive Decisions) at the Warwick Valley High School will host a mock crash on Wednesday, April 2, beginning at 9 a.m., in the parking lot between the high school and middle school. “This very realistic, graphic demonstration will consist of two cars involved in a motor vehicle crash - not an accident - as the driver of one of the cars is intoxicated,” SADD advisor Jo Ann Cheney said in an e-mailed press release. “This simulation will include our three Warwick emergency services (ambulance, fire and police) and students and faculty from the high school. This will hopefully encourage our students to think about the consequences of using illegal substances, especially while driving or riding in cars.”
