Rock the Greenwood Lake Public Library - accoustically - on July 12

GREENWOOD LAKE — The Greenwood Lake Public Library will host an evening of classic Rock, Blues and R&B with local favorite "Some Guys and a Broad" on Thursday, July 12.
This special acoustic performance will run from 7 to 8 p.m.
Local favorites in each summer's Greenwood Lake Concert Series on the Beach, Some Guys and a Broad play classic Woodstock era music as well as other Rock, Blues and R&B.
The Thursday evening show will feature Tracey Blue, Steve Kunzweiler, and Mike Digirolamo. Singing her entire life, Blue fronted the popular New York City based all girls band "Scarlet Fever" in the 1980’s, opening for such artists as David Johansen, Joe Perry and others.
She also was lead vocalist for Linda Marso’s band " Life on Mars" and was part the 2003 release Landing Soon.
From there, she branched out on her own, writing and performing her own music fronting the "Tracey Blue Band." It was there that she met Mike Digirolamo.
He has played guitar, bass, keyboards and percussion in many different settings, including rock, jazz, Latin and classic music ensembles. He is also a board certified music therapist and composer of original instrumental music.
Digirolamo's love for music has been heavily influenced by classic and blues-based rock and roll. He has a great appreciation of the bass styles of John Paul Jones, Paul McCartney, Geddy Lee, Greg Lake, Phil Lesh, John Entwhistle and Chris Squire.
Locally, the band has played at The Mason Jar in Mahwah, N.J., Pennings Farm, The Dautaj and Silvio’s Italian Village, all in Warwick.
They are also one of the more popular bands that participate in the Greenwood Lake Summer Concert Series on the Lake and have also played at the Greenwood Lake Blues Festival, which benefits local families dealing with cancer.
