This year’s theme is “Libraries Rock” for ages 2 years to kids entering 6th grade as well as for kids entering grades 7-12.
Registration in SRP is required to be eligible to attend all supplemental programs (which will also require individual registration), and all participants must have a valid Greenwood Lake Public Library card.
Children should have a parent with them for summer reading registration and for getting a new or replacement card.
Each week, children are encouraged to come in weekly at reporting times from July 5—July 27, Thursdays and Fridays (10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m.), and Saturdays (10 a.m. to noon) on the books that they read.
Summer reading will conclude on Saturday, July 28, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a Homespun Carnival complete with refreshments, crafts, prizes, activities and games.
