Quakers to hold a fair

Cornwall — The annual Quaker Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14, at the historic 1790 Friends Meeting House, located on Quaker Avenue in Cornwall. The fair features arts and crafts by regional and international artisans, home-baked treats, organic coffee by the cup or pound, vegetarian chili, pita sandwiches, cider, and plenty of books, old and new. Visitors can stroll the grounds and learn about Quaker projects to promote world peace and justice. There will be free guided tours of the meeting house in Cornwall. The meeting house located is just off Route 9W, next to the Cornwall Hospital. Admission is free and all are welcome.
