Goshen Prospect Reservoir in the Village of Goshen has been re-opened for fishing. Village residents may buy a permit at village hall by presenting a valid New York State fishing license and $3 for the application fee. Fishing licenses may be purchased at the Goshen Town Hall on Webster Avenue, among many other locatoins. The Village of Goshen Board of Trustees recently voted to once again offer this amenity to its residents. Last year, 1,500 flathead minnows were released into the reservoir, and the board intends to gradually restock the water with various game fish. Anglers should always carry their permits for inspection while at the reservoir. For more information, call village hall at 294-6750.
