Program: Reptile Conservation in New York

Cornwall Join the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum on Thursday, Jan. 17, at 7:30 p.m. at Painter’s Tavern, 266 Hudson Street, Cornwall-on-Hudson, for an Evening Speakers Series: Reptile Conservation in New York. Peter Warny, reptile expert and associate researcher for the NY State Museum, will discuss the current state of reptile and amphibian populations in New York. Warny’s illustrated presentation will include reptile conservation and research projects such as: turtle telemetry, snake tracking, rare species monitoring and habitat conservation techniques. All Evening Speakers Series events take place on Thursdays, 7:30 p.m., at Painter’s Tavern, 266 Hudson Street, Cornwall-on-Hudson. General admission is $7; museum members, $4.
