Press releases literary map' of New York State
TREADWELL Bright Hill Press announced the publication of the first edition of the Literary Map of New York State, developed by Bright Hill in partnership with the New York State Council on the Arts and with the generous support of Pantone. The four-color map and its associated Web site have been created to offer writers, educators, students, and the general public both a historical perspective and a useful resource on authors and literature in New York State. The map is now being distributed throughout the state to literary organizations, libraries, teachers, research centers, and community senior and youth centers. The 18” x 24” map presents images of prominent New York writers on the front; the reverse contains information on hundreds of literary sites and thousands of writers. The map is intended to provide a gateway to literary New York, but it is only the beginning of New York’s literary story, which continues in a more extensive online version at www.nyslittree.org.
