'Possibilities' quilt can be yours

WARWICK — Because of scheduling conflicts, the Warwick Valley Quilters’ Guild will not be hosting its biannual show this year.
But the guild will still be awarding its raffle quilt to a lucky winner.
Visit wvqg.org to view the quilt and to purchase tickets online, or visit the guild's booth at Applefest on Oct. 14.
The winning tickets will be drawn that day at 4 p.m.
The first prize, a quilt created by guild members, is titled "Possibilities," a generous queen- or king-sized quilt made from two traditional blocks with the updated twist of modern, monotone fabrics.
The second prize is a ScanNCut Fabric Cutter donated by Sew-Cology in Warwick.
The third prize is a Babylock “Amelia” Sewing Machine donated by Above and Beyond Creative Sewing in Nanuet.
