Monroe — Creative Theatre-Muddy Water Players’ 2011 fall finale features performances of Laddy Sartin’s light drama, “Catfish Moon.” Performances are scheduled for Friday and Saturday, Nov. 11 and 12 at 8 p.m. in The Playhouse at Museum Village, Route 17M, in Monroe. “Catfish Moon” is being presented for the first time in the Hudson Valley and is the story of Curley, Gordon and Frog, three former childhood chums whose friendships have been strained by the pressures of middle age. It’s a hilarious and heartfelt look at fishing, beer and the meaning of life, particularly as it pertains to aging, friendship and the struggle between men and women, or more precisely, the struggles between men over women. Tickets are $15. The production is under the direction of Les Ferguson. Reservations are suggested. For more information, call the box office at 845-294-9465. Creative Theatre-Muddy Water Players, Inc. is an incorporated, non-profit organization that has been performing in the mid-Hudson since 1978.
