Playhouse to hold auditions for fall finale this weekend

    Monroe — Creative Theatre-Muddy Water Players will hold open auditions for "Catfish Moon" on Aug. 20 and 21 from 1 to 3 p.m. at The Playhouse at Museum Village, Route 17M in Monroe. "Catfish Moon" is a hear-felt drama, written by Laddy Sartin, about fishing, beer and the meaning of life, particularly as it pertains to aging, friendships and relationships. The production is under the direction of Les Ferguson and performances will be from Nov. 4 to 12. Cast size is three men and one woman. Prepared materials are not necessary. Creative Theatre - Muddy Water Players is a non-profit corporation dedicated to promoting the performing arts in Orange County.
