Middletown — Kenneth Pearson will read his work at the next Poetry on the Loose event. The program will begin at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3 at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 6 Orchard St. (at Main) in Middletown. His presentation will be followed by an open reading during which anyone may participate. Robert Milby is the guest host. Pearson has been writing poetry and songs for over seventeen years. His observations of everyday, ordinary life document a level of consciousness to achieve an emotionally therapeutic and healing journey. He is the author of two collections of poetry titled “The Old Leather Room” and his latest, “Water Falls In Autumn.” For more information regarding Pearson and his work, visit www.kenneth-pearson.com. “Water Falls In Autumn” is available for purchase at this Web site and all major online bookstores (such as Barnes and Noble, Borders, or Amazon). The Dec. 1 Poetry on the Loose reading will feature Joel Solonche and will mark the beginning of the fifteenth year of the Reading/Performance Series regularly hosted by William Seaton. The series is supported this year with funding from Orange Arts/Orange County Tourism and the County of Orange.
