Pcasso Pottery offers classes for seniors

WARWICK — Pcasso Pottery is offering pottery painting and art sessions for senior citizens every Tuesday and Friday. Warwick area seniors can now avail themselves of the opportunity for twice a week pottery painting and art sessions at Pcasso Pottery, beginning on Tuesday, April 29.
On Tuesday and Friday mornings at 10 a.m., Warwick senior citizens are invited to come to Pcasso Pottery and Art Studio at 7 West St. for 90 minutes of creative fun. Express your creativity and make something special for a grandchild, neighbor, or friend that doesn’t require any real artistic ability, making it a great hobby for just about anyone. Each project costs $16 to $20, depending upon the specific piece, and includes all supplies and the class fee.
“We’ve decided to waive the $5 class fee for seniors,” says Pcasso owner, Susan Zavagli. “We want to make this as easy and as affordable as possible.”
Zavagli also suggests seniors contact the Warwick Dial-a-Bus regarding transportation. The Dial-A-Bus will be making a specific stop at the Liberty Green Apartments so that residents there will be able to make the trip. The cost for the bus is $1 per person each way.
