WARWICK — Move over Under the Tent, there is a new party in town:
The Warwick Historical Society is changing things up this year with the all new Party in the Park on Saturday, Aug. 26, from 6 to 9 p.m.
"Join us as we celebrate the Village's 150th Anniversary and recognize Warwick's artists, past and present," Lisa-Ann Weisbrod, this historical society's executive director, said in the press release detailing the event. "Warwick has a rich relationship with the arts, what better way to celebrate our artists than an evening in the park filed with lively music, delicious food and drinks, and great friends."
The party will feature cocktail style dining courtesy of The Landmark Inn, a signature cocktail designed by Black Dirt Distillery, craft beer from Glenmere Brewing Company and homemade desserts.
Music will be provided by Soulia and the Sultans.
The event is the historical society's largest fund raiser.
"For over 100 years the Society has been the caretaker of many of our most precious properties including Lewis Park and the Old School Baptist Meeting House," Weisbrod said. "This is all done without any tax dollars. Funds raised by this event will support WHS mission to preserve and celebrate the history of Warwick and it's people."
Essential informationTickets are $95 for Historical Society members, $125 for non-members and can be purchased by calling the Society at 845-986-3236, ext. 101. Advance ticket sales only.
