Parents Run AMOC to host holiday breakfast Dec, 1

    Goshen - Parents Run AMOC (Autism Move-A-Thon of Orange County) is hosting its second annual Holiday Breakfast, Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame in Goshen. A buffet breakfast will be served from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., and will include scrambled eggs, French toast, bacon, sausage, bagels, muffins, assorted juices, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Gluten-free, casein-free items will also be available. All this for $7 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under with preregistration. Walk-ins are welcome and will cost $12 for adults and $7 for children. Live musicians will sing festive holiday songs. Face painting will be available throughout the day. Participants can learn to play dreidel. Parents should bring a camera — Santa will be available for pictures. The museum will be open for touring until 3 p.m. Parents Run AMOC (Autism Move-A-Thon of Orange County) is a volunteer group raising awareness and understanding for those on the autism spectrum. The goal of the group, which was formed in 2004, is to provide support—both financial and emotional—for families with a member diagnosed with autism.
