Parenting programs for kids who don't come with directions

    Middletown— The Cornell Cooperative Extension of Orange County has announced its winter/spring educational series for parents and caregivers. Because kids don’t come with directions, and their needs change as they grow, Cornell offers a variety of enjoyable, affordable programs for all types of families. One fee for the whole family. • Living with Your Teen - Enjoying and Surviving the Challenge (for parents/caregivers of children 10 to 14 years) held at Cornwall Central Middle School; Feb. 1, 8 and 15, from 7 to 9 p.m.; $30/series. • Young Children: Priority One (for parents/caregivers of children 2 to 12 years) held at Sanfordville Elementary School, Warwick; March 1, 8, 15 and 22, from 7 to 9 p.m.; $30/series. • Strengthening Families Program (priority to City of Newburgh Families) This program series is designed for parents and their children ages 8 to 14 years.
