Cornwall — The Museum of the Hudson Highlands will hold its annual Pancake Breakfast from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 26, at the Kenridge Farm on Route 9W in Cornwall. The breakfast will consist of pancakes, sausage, orange juice, coffee, and real maple syrup. Tours will be available to see how the maple trees in the sugarbush are tapped for sap, which is then evaporated and turned into syrup. The cost for the breakfast is $6 for adults and $4 for children ages three to 12. Groups larger than 10 must have reservations. The breakfast is being sponsored by Hannaford of Vail’s Gate, who will supply the food and paper products. Proceeds will go towards the museum’s environmental education programs. The maple syrup process can also be viewed at the Maple Sugar Tours, on Saturday and Sundays until March 19. The tours will begin at 11:30 a.m. (earlier for the Pancake Breakfast) and end at 3 p.m. Tours begin every half hour, and include a 45-minute walk into the sugarbush, so dress warmly and wear boots. The cost for the tours is $7, or $5 for members. For further information, call 534-5506 ext. 204, or visit www.museumhudsonhighlands.org.
