Painter's work on display in Goshen

Goshen - The work of contemporary artist Ellen Mayer, who utilizes oils and acrylics to create startlingly beautiful images, will be displayed at the Executive Suite Gallery located at the Orange County Government Center in Goshen. Mayer has shown her work throughout Orange County and New York City and has been featured and published in numerous magazines. In 2001 she returned to school in order to obtain a degree in visual communications adding graphic designer to her repertoire. In 2002 she provided watercolor illustrations for the gown worn by the actress Renee Taylor at the Academy Awards as well as illustrations for Liza Minnelli’s wedding. As an artist, Mayer has successfully versed herself in many mediums. The exhibit is open to the public during business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m, to 5 p.m. The show runs from Jan. 18 through March 1.
