Paint pumpkins and join the parade

UNIONVILLE-Two days of Halloween frolic have been planned by the Village of Unionville and the Town of Minisink. On Sunday, Oct. 30, "Pumpkin Painting" will be offered from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Unionville Village Park, behind the Village Hall. On Monday, Oct. 31, "The Best of the Best Halloween Parade," for children, adults and leashed pets, will parade from 6 to 8:30 p.m. down Main St. in Unionville. Participants should gather at 5:45 p.m. at the Unionville Post Office. In case of rain, the events will be held at the Unionville Firehouse on Route 284.
