Orange County Arts Council organizes 4th All-County Dance Celebration for April 26

— The Orange County Arts Council will hold its fourth All-County Dance Celebration on Sunday, April 26, at 3 p.m. at the Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center to coincide with National Dance Week.

Orange County dancers, choreographers, dance companies and dance studios have been invited to share their talent with the community in this unique one-day performance.

"This event has always been about elevating the art of dance and highlighting the creativity of choreography, as well as the grace and talent of the dancers," Orange County Arts Council Executive Director Dawn Ansbro said in the group's press release announcing the program. "It offers the community an opportunity to see a wide variety of dance performed with excellence and local performers a chance to demonstrate their skill.”

All pieces presented are choreographed and performed by artists living or working in Orange County. The following participants will be performing:

American Youth Ballet in Salisbury Mills;

Step it Up Dance Productions in Cornwall-on-Hudson;

Marya Kennett Dance Center in Goshen;

Orange County School of Dance in Monroe;

Empire Dance Center in New Windsor;

Full Circle Studio in Westtown;

Black Dirt Dance in Pine Island;

Joanne's Dance Studio in Blooming Grove;

Kerry Dance in Warwick;
The Dance Center in Port Jervis;

Newburgh Performing Arts Academy in Newburgh;

Orange County Ballet Theatre in Newburgh;

Volute Dance in Campbell Hall;

M’Lanie Hunter Dance in Chester;

Mitchell Performing Arts Center in Pine Bush;

New York Dance Center in Goshen;

Artisan Dance Company in Sugar Loaf.
