Open auditions to start for Playhouse season

    Monroe —The Creative Theatre-Muddy Water Players will hold open auditions in February for its upcoming season at The Playhouse at Museum Village, located on Route 17M in Monroe. Prepared materials are not necessary. Information about the cast may be found at www.ctmwp.org. Auditions for the May production of William Inge’s classic American drama “Bus Stop” will be from 1 to 3 p.m. on Feb. 10 and 11. The play will be directed by Terri Brockmann. The cast calls for five men and three women. Performances will run from May 5 to the 20. Auditions for the July production of Anthony Marriott’s comedy “No Sex Please, We’re British” will be from 3 to 5 p.m. on Feb. 10 and 11. David Mossey will be the director. The cast includes seven men and three women. Performances will run from July 7 to the 22. The Creative Theatre-Muddy Water Players is a non-profit corporation dedicated to promoting the performing arts in Orange County. The company operates The Playhouse at Museum Village, presenting a season of main stage performances from May to September along with workshops and readings.
