Open auditions to be held for playhouse season

    MONROE — Creative Theatre — The Muddy Water Players will hold open auditions on Feb. 23 and 24 for its upcoming season at The Playhouse at Museum Village, Route 17M in Monroe. The company operates The Playhouse at Museum Village, presenting a season of performances from May to September, along with workshops and readings. Auditions for the May production of “Murder Among Friends” will be from 1 to 3 p.m. on both days. Directed by Michael Frohnhoeffer. the cast calls for four men and two women. Performances will run from May 3 to 18. Auditions for the July production of “The Prisoner of Second Ave.,” will be from 3 to 5 p.m. on both days. Directed by Donna Polichetti, the cast is comprised of two men and four women. Performances will run from July 11 to 27.
