On Top of Spaghetti' children's show

MIDDLETOWN The Paper Bag Players, the New York City-based children’s touring theatre company, will appear in the children’s production, “On Top of Spaghetti,” at SUNY Orange’s Orange Hall Theater in Middletown on Sunday, Feb. 10, at 2 p.m. “Cookies,” a magical box, and a “runaway meatball” will perform in the one hour play which features songs, stories, music, jokes, and dancing. Now in its 49 year as a children’s touring theater company, the actors will perform a show of songs and skits, with bright and easy-to-make costumes and sets and props made of items which children have easy access to at home, such as boxes, paper and old clothes. Their performance is meant to entertain and educate children and their families and friends. An additional performance feature is live music played by pianist/composer John Stone. Tickets are $4 for children/students age three to 16; $7 for adults; $6 for senior citizens/SUNY Orange alumni, faculty and staff. Reserved seat tickets can be purchased at the George F. Shepard Student Center from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday; and until 4:30 p.m. on Fridays.
