NEW YORK — This Saturday, Sept. 29, museums nationwide will open their doors for free and local, regional and metropolitan museums are participating. Museum-goers can download free tickets for two on the Smithsonian Web site (Smithsonian.com/museumdaylive).
What follows is a list of participating museums in the Hudson Valley and Catskills There are many other participating museums throughout the city, update, Long Island and elsewhere in the state as well as in New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania.
