Florida - Families are invited to a special summer reading program event at the Florida Public Library on Saturday, July 14, at 2 p.m., featuring the mime artist Robert Rivest. Rivest will bring characters and stories from familiar books to life through his interactive mime performance entitled “Clue Into Reading: Comedy & Mime.” Rivest also is an educator and founder of The Rivest School of Mime Theater in Massachusetts. His appearance at the library is supported in part by the Federal Library Services and Technology Act funds awarded to the New York State Library. The program is open to all residents of the Florida School District. Non-residents may register as space allows. To register, call the library at 651-7659.
