'Nights of Nee-dlework' added to the list of clubs at the Greenwood Lake Public Library

GREENWOOD LAKE — “Nights of Nee-dlework” will be held at the Greenwood Lake Public Library beginning Tuesday evening, Oct. 2, and continuing on the first and third Tuesdays of every month from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
“Nights of Nee-dlework” joins the Cookbook Club, which meets the second Tuesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m., and Book Lovers’ Club (fourth Tuesday, from 7-8:30 p.m.) to complete the list of ongoing monthly clubs in adult programming.
For the first two sessions of each season, the library will provide an experienced needlecrafter to instruct a different type of needlework. Dawn Mazur, who has created and donated various afghans to raffle off at the library, will get the program started with basic crochet.
She will instruct on Oct. 2 and 16, but anyone can come with their own needle projects to discuss and compare notes, while enjoying coffee, tea and some dessert.
Participants must provide their own materials including hooks and yarn.
Material suggestions will also be available at the desk when registration begins.
