Nickel social to raise money for cheerleaders

    Warwick — A nickel social and bake sale to benefit a local cheerleading team will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 15, at the Warwick Senior Center, located at 132 Kings Highway in Warwick (next to the police station). The event is being hosted by the Chaos Parents Association, a non-profit organization. All proceeds will benefit Chaos Allstar Cheerleading. Doors open at 6 p.m., and calling starts at 7:45 p.m. Toys, collectibles, household items, antiques, handcrafted items, Christmas items, gift certificates to many restaurants and merchants in the area, a computer desk donated by Staples, and an authentic autographed football donated by the New York Giants are some of the items to be offered at the social.
