Next stop, Great American Weekend

GOSHEN It’s just around the corner: the 26th Great American Weekend is officially scheduled Saturday, June 30 and Sunday, July 1. Come to Village Square for an array of activities, including: more than 150 arts and crafts vendors and local merchants; antiques; food brought to you by community non-profits; live continuous entertainment on the monument stage, the Goshen Rotary 5K and 10K Race; Harness Racing at Goshen Historic Track; children’s rides; a “free” climbing wall courtesy of U.S. Army; and Hayrides with Goshen in Bloom. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Brochures containing all the details are now available at locations throughout town and may also be picked up at the Friday Goshen Farmer’s Market along with the beautiful new 2007 T-shirts. To allow for set-up for the Great American Weekend, the Friday, June 29 market will be relocated to the Old Jail Site on Erie St., for that Friday, only.
