New classes at Warwick community center

    WARWICK-A new series of classes begins the week of Jan. 10 at the Warwick Valley Community Center. For adults, classes include intermediate ballet, basic music theory, ceramics open studio, creative scrapbooking, Kathak dance of North India, beginning/intermeidate pottery, and yoga. For pre-school children, there are limited openings in the Small Fry Preschool afternoon class, Children's classes include art, introduction to ballet, beginning/intermeidate drawing, cooking, theater, dance, play-acting, pottery/ceramics, nature/science, and "Time for 2s." Classes for teens include beginning and intermediate drawing, "Paint like the masters," pottery/ceramics, teen theater, introduction to juggling, and creative cooking. Also, the Teen Center is open every afternoon from 2 to 6 p.m. for students in grades 6-12. All classes and programs are open to the public, including families from surrounding areas and communities.
