Nature's Elements to open at Bertoni Gallery

Sugar Loaf - Nature’s Elements is an exhibition of work by Rachel Bertoni. She has developed a new line of 18k gold jewelry with sparkles of colored diamonds gemstones from mother earth that reflects her theme of movement. The jewelry comes from the same philosophy as her mixed media collage work. Much of her artwork stems from the idea of an inner voice that uses elements of nature in dreamlike sequences, often questioning ideas about the earth and our existence. The show, which opens Thursday, Aug. 23, will run through Oct. 28. An opening reception to celebrate Bertoni Gallery’s 7th year in business will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 1, at the gallery, located at 1392 Kings Highway, Sugar Loaf.
