Musician releases Christian contemporary CD

Washingtonville - Musician Bruce Winslow of Washingtonville has released a CD of Christian contemporary songs, titled “Move Your Mountains.” In his press release, Winslow said the project took more than one and half years to complete and represents his personal ideas, experiences and thoughts on Biblical verses. There are 11 vocal tracks and one instrumental track, using different contemporary styles and instrumental timbres. Track 4 is called “Alive in Our Love” and was written for the 100th anniversary of St. Mary’s Church in Washingtonville. The song was performed many times at church celebrations that anniversary year. Track 12 is an instrumental treatment of the traditional hymn “Amazing Grace,” called “How Sweet the Sound,” that uses many different instrumental sounds, including bagpipes, strings and mute\d trumpet.
