Music Under the Stars concert series begins

West Point — The United States Military Academy Band will begin its 2007 Music Under the Stars concert series on Sunday, June 10 at 7:30 p.m., at West Point’s Trophy Point Amphitheatre. The program, entitled Celebrations! features the Academy Concert Band under the direction of the band’s deputy commander Captain Treg Ancelet. Many patriotic selections will be performed as the Academy Band celebrates the opening of the series, as well as the birthday of the United States Army. This performance is free and open to the public. Concerts this summer will include a number of special guests, as well as the annual special event concerts that the audience has come to know.A Allow extra travel time for the 100 percent vehicle and photo I.D. inspection at Stony Lonesome and Thayer gates.
