Music Makers hosts "A Concert for Lovers"

GREENWOOD LAKE — Music Makers concert series at the Greenwood Lake Public Library presents “A Concert for Lovers” featuring The Kaitlyn Fay Quintet.
Jazz vocalist Kaitlyn Fay performs at this “Concert for Lovers,” along with Steve Kirsty on tenor saxophone, Will Dougherty on piano, Connor Koch on bass, and Jon Di Fiore on drums for the Library’s award-winning Music Makers concert series.
This performance will feature a collection of tunes from the great American songbook, as well as tunes from Fay’s debut jazz standards album, “Curiosity,” on which Fay sings some of her favorite songs by Duke Ellington, Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, and others.
Through these songs, experience the journey of looking for love, finding heartbreak, and learning that a little curiosity can go a long way. Get into the Valentine’s Day spirit and enjoy some “lovely” music by The Kaitlyn Fay Quintet.
The concert is on Tuesday, Feb. 4, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Registration is required for this free family program either in person or by telephone at 845-477-8377 Ext. 101. This concert is open to the public and seating is expected to fill up quickly.
This concert was made possible, in part, by individual donations by members of the community. Donations are most welcome and can be made to the “Music Makers Concert Series” at the Greenwood Lake Public Library.
The Library is located at 79 Waterstone Road in Greenwood Lake.
